Matt Dudley is a versital new addition to the music industry. He is an experienced studio/session drummer who hails from a small town in Whiteville North Carolina. Matt has studied percussion at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and also was a member of the Spirit of the Carolina’s marching band. He studied drum set under the famous “Pat Petrillo”, and studied private percussion under Tracy Wiggins. Matt Dudley is an inductee of The Christain Drummers Hall of Fame and endorses UNIGRIP sticks and grips. Matt has played, and studied drums and percussion since the young age of eight. During middle school, and high school matt placed 1st chair for five years straight in All-County Band competitions, and has also placed 2nd in the southeastern district of North Carolina for concert snare. Besides school band functions Matt has performed, and recorded with numerous bands and musicians from North, and South Carolina such as The singing Smith Family, Unpaved, Central, Johnathan Cigary, Burden of Atlas, Don Peacock, The Usual Friends, Luminosity, Nathan Purifoy, Michael Graham and Lifepoint Church. On top of all of the performing, and recording sessions Matt has been teaching drum and percussion lessons since 2003 and has built a name for himself locally, he has taught the drum line for Whiteville high school and assisted band director Chance Bryant for three seasons and is now currently teaching the drum line at South Columbus and East Columbus High School.
